DICE is Quint's proprietary model translating leadership requirements into observable, level-specific, behaviorally anchored evaluation criteria. Every competency is calibrated across 5 organizational levels - from Individual Contributor to Senior Executive - and scored on evidence-based BARS with explicit behavioral anchors: a coherent quantitative-qualitative mapping.
The structure
Four domains group eighteen competencies. Each competency is described at five organizational levels and rated on an evidence-based scale anchored to explicit behaviours.
The 18 competencies
The detail by domain. An assessment uses only the competencies relevant to the role and the decision.

The five organizational levels
The same competency calls for different behaviours at different levels: the descriptors change, the criterion stays comparable.
How to read a BARS scale
BARS stands for Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale: each point is not an adjective but a described behaviour. That is what makes a score verifiable and defensible.
Scale structure. Actual descriptors are specific to each competency and organizational level.
